We have also taken in displaced dogs from the wild fire to help out another rescue that had to evacuate. They are safe and sound here at the Pure Mutts Animal Sanctuary. 1) We need dog food, Dog bowls, Dog beds 2) We need volunteers to come and prepare food for volunteers and Fire Fighters. 3) We need furniture to furnish the temporary homes for people who have lost everything. 4) Bedding, bed sheets, pillows comforters etc. 5) Small aplliances, pots and pans, dishes, cups, glasses, utencils etc. 6) Water Botteles, small TVs, DVD players etc for the kids to keep them occupied 7) Activity books for kids. Kids clothes 8) Energy bars for fire fighters. ANYTHING ELSE YOU CAN THINK OFF. Please be kind and only bring new or used items that are in good condition. FIREFIGHTERS NEED SOME ITEMS, PLEASE HELP

I just received information from Incident Command that they do not want anymore fruit or baked goods or any kind of perishable items.
First of all, I would like to thank everyone for their generosity. Here is a list of items that the firefighters are in need of:
1. Dust masks
2. Dry sunscreen spray
3. Eye Wash or Eye Drops
4. Gatorade
5. Individual packaged non-perishable food items such as:
granola bars, energy bars, Beef Jerky, cookies, cheese or peanut butter crackers. They really want Beef Jerky
6. Baby wipes
7. T-shirts (variety of sizes)
8. Crew Socks
9. 55 Gallon Garbage Bags
10. Tylenol/Aspirin/Ibuprofen
11. XL work gloves
12. Nose Spray
13. Toilet Paper
14. Paper Towels, napkins, To Go Boxes, cups, plastic utensils
15. Energy Drinks
16. Boxers – Not Boxer Briefs
17. Band Aids
18. Safety Glasses
19. Bandanas
20. gum or cough drops
21. And most of all manpower to assist us in organizing the donations that have been pouring in….
Please deliver all items to Magnolia Volunteer Fire Department located at 18215 Buddy Riley Blvd, Magnolia, TX 77354 between the hours of
9 am – 9 pm. Please do not deliver to the command post.
